Job Description Job Description We're seeking a skilled and hard-working Plant Healthcare technician to help keep our tree care clients happy. We're looking for an entry level or experienced individual who has strong communication skills, positive attitude and loves the outdoors. This candidate will be responsible for providing trees with the proper care they need to sustain a valuable place in all types landscapes. Responsibilities include consulting, tree identification, treating, fertilizing, chemical inventory, and much more. The work area is mainly based out of the southwest twin cities. Compensation: $23 - $30 hourly Responsibilities: Thoroughly communicate with customers about their Plant Healthcare needs Identify most common tree and shrub species Accurately identify tree disorders and diseases such as fungus, insects, leaf, root, trunk and much more Immediate enrollment in our hands-on TCIA training, seminars, webinars, etc. company provided Operate tree injection and spraying equipment. Drive and operate spray trucks Measure and mix chemicals safely and properly First Aid/CPR certificate. Company provided Qualifications: Strong communication skills We prefer candidates with International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification, but not required Must be able to obtain TCIA PHC technician certificate. Company provided Have or obtain Category A and Core Category E applicator license. company provided Must have Valid drivers license Have or obtain DOT medical card.
